Poem: Old Friends

A dash of lavender by the school hall
An old-fashioned streak of paradise
For that oldest friend

Those young ones, old of friendship
Hands sleeve-muffled, dash in and out of violet clouds
Ending the lives of dear old friends

Consequently queried
The little friends cite the piercing instincts
Of those ancient friends

Oh, my dearest friends!
How you chums of jolly execution
Gaily jaunt through paradise...
